They probably have time before games to test phones, etc. But, I know I saw Boone one night on an MLB channel game with a cell phone talking on it. He was bent over with it tucked into his chest talking on it. Doing it that way I figured they could not have cell phones in the dugouts. I never thought much of Little. He was okay as a bench coach, but not as a manager. 40,000 folks in the stands don’t appear to have much trouble getting reception. I have watched games on TV where they have the camera out in CF on the batter, catcher and ump. Some people behind the backstop yakking on a cell phone danged near the whole game and made me wonder why in the heck did he/she pay the price of those tickets to sit there and yak on the phone for 9 innings.
2 games today, 4 tomorrow.
I find it most interesting when the bullpens get involved.
The Trop in TB is a baseball horror.
