Ran into him 20 some odd years ago down at JRTC-Ft Polk, he was a Green Beret. He thanked me for trying to stick up for him way back when.

I recognized the last name, and the Boston accent.

Every duty station I’ve been to, I’ve either run into someone I knew from a previous duty station or basic training.
