In the second quarter of 2019, Netflix had over 151 million paying streaming subscribers worldwide as well as over 6.56 million free trial customers. Of these subscribers, 60.1 million were from the United States.
You are a fool living in a bubble if you think that these sorts of numbers have no influence.
In the US alone, 60 million subscribers is approximately at least 120 million viewers or half the country.
That is a lot of people. World wide that is even more viewers per subscription and from the affluent population.
So, what is your solution?
The whole conservative producer thing doesnt work. And the movies produced to show in church basements are ridiculous.
And, stories like this on FR only work to get a very small minority fired up.
My point is that if the movie/series isnt any good, no one will watch it. And most of what is on Netflix is not very good. The fact that these streaming services are paying outrageous sums foe TV shows from the 1990s is a sign of that.
This stuff needs to be kept in the proper context. No need to get panties in a bunch.
