Robots work just fine.
But that should not stop us from going to the stars................

That’s not stopping us from going to the stars. Pretty much the entire design of the universe is stopping us.
But beyond that little fact, there is also the fact that everywhere we look in the universe just seems a whole hellofa lot less interesting, appealing, and habitable than the place we are already stuck on.
