I would not be surprised to learn that 40% of the donors to Trump’s campaign in the last 24 hours have been DEMOCRATS.

Can you elaborate a bit?

I can see the impeachment insanity being a big turn-off for many mainstream Democrats who realize it is political kryptonite for their 2020 hopes, but what makes you think that many Democrats would actually contribute to Trump’s campaign?
