It's very long but I found it excellent. In the battle with the Deep State for the narrative, President Trump used this presser to once again beat them senseless. He returned to important points over and over again, and added that the left now wants the transcripts of the first phone calls to the Ukraine. He says they can have them and those calls were "beautiful". Well worth reading all the way to the end (note POTUS seems to impart hope by implying possession of knowledge re Venezuela).

Excellent post, very informative, thank you ransomnote. Trump leans forward, on so many critically important issues, so hard, and so relentlessly, a marvel of personal energy and of American ingenuity. He is so obviously enamored of this country, his country, our country, to the deliberate and unabashed exclusion of every other country in the world, that he sets the modern standard of red-blooded patriotism against which all other high elected officials and candidates, in the recent past and in the years to come, should be judged. And when judged in this way, so many are being found so pitifully wanting that the voters should be kicking themselves that we allowed our standards to drop so far.

This is actually the first of President Trump`s speeches i`ve read in full and i must confess i`m shocked. To me that`s just a bunch of incoherent rambling. Maybe he was just exhausted from the all the meetings he had in the last days, but still... What do you all think, is he usually better?

Outstanding summary of the past 2-3 days. The full import of events has yet to be appreciated. More so than anything else, it impresses me as a report to the nation if not the world. In our case, CinC reporting to Snuffies on where US are at. Also, I see the UN visit as the only instance where the promise if not potential of the UN was realized. He “worked the room” like no other statesman even dreamt of.

Unspoken is the toll the past week or so has taken on the President. Great things accomplished between Houston and Manhattan. Well and fine that the Man burns the candle to a nub but he’s sounded weary in the last audio clip or two. I suspect he’s overdue a break and a Diet-Coke or two.

...But when you see what happened with the viciousness, and when you see little Adam Schiff go out and lie and lie and stand at the mic — smart guy, by the way — stand at the mic and act like he’s so serious. And then he goes into a room with Nadler, and they must laugh their asses off. They must laugh their asses off.

This was my favorite part. Trump is so genuinely real it would be hard for me not to like him.

A little off thread here but while listening to Gorka interview Donald Jr. , Donald mentioned his maternal grandmother. As a victim of both Nazi and Soviet tyranny in Czechoslovakia she was very worried about this Impeachment nonsense.

I looked her and found out something interesting about Trump's former mother in law: She loves him, says he's very kind. How many people can say that about their former mother in law?
