Local TV and print news reporters are usually the idiot cousins of their left-wing betters in the national media. They also often stupidly parrot the talking points and slogans that the national mainstream media gives them.

If you can stomach it - go on Twitter or their comments page, and use that to blast the LOCAL news media when they do this. Your commentary will be read, and it will have a much greater impact
