Those who have lived through tough times, the Depression and World Wars, they’ve left us and a void concerning those trying times and how good we have it today.
I think perhaps the same applies to certain aspects of the race issues facing us these days. Those who experienced the real life threatening racism have passed on for the most part. The younger generations are flying somewhat blind.
Yes! You make such an important point. There are seniors alive today who experienced *real* racism. True, genuine, despicable, abusive treatment based on their skin color.
