Oh certainly, if he is not convicted and removed from office. Not sure if that happened if he’d be free to run again, but I think that he would be.

Yes, and there is no prohibition against running again unless they’ve served two terms already.

If we elect Kenyans, we can elect such a person.

The Senate has to convict with 2/3rds vote. Errr not going to happen.

“I’m just wondering what happens after Trump is impeached by the Democrats.”

He laughs heartily!

Impeachment is merely a charge. Any trial is held by the Senate where it takes 2/3rds majority to convict. Two Presidents have been impeached, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Neither were convicted by the Senate—and served out their terms.

Of course he can. Strictly speaking he can run even if he’s in jail, convicted of a crime, but that’s highly unlikely.

Their biggest charge against him appears to be that they don’t like him. This whole thing is falling apart and backfiring on democrats.

Yeah, He will be charged by congress for talking with a diplomat regarding corruption in his country.
Don't ask me how that is a crime.

The impeachment will fail in the Senate.. It will have no effect. In fact, it made Clinton more popular.

If he drank, a round of golf, a glass of wine or a beer, then, relax. Next day, back to work.

The Senate does the sentencing should the House Impeach the President. One of the sentences they can impose is to bar the person from holding public office.

Article I, Section 3, Clause 7: "Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States..."

It's an option, but not automatic.

From what I can tell the 2018 election was a fraud, making this Congress illegitimate.

Maybe that’ll shed some light on things.

Yes, unless the Senate votes to remove him which it won’t.

Impeachment will lead to almost as big a landslide as Reagan and Nixon.
40 states minimum.

Ever heard of a guy named Bill Clinton? He was Impeached and served two terms.

No president has ever been Convicted in an impeachment. The process is, the House can recommend it. But, it requires 2/3rds of the Senate to Convict.

This has never happened. It will not happen in this case.

Additionally, there is no Impeachment process in play here. The Speaker of the House does not have the authority to actually initiate such.

It requires a vote in the house and 51% of the House has to vote for such.

No Vote has been taken. Pelosi’s announcement is nothing more than Kabuki Theater to appease the Squad and the Lunatic Base.
