Climate change protesters shut down some intersections from Capitol Hill to downtown Washington Monday morning in the latest of a series of rallies around the world designed to force policymakers to respond to Earth’s rising temperatures.
Organizers of Shut Down DC urged “climate rebels” to flood the District’s streets Monday to bring “the whole city to a gridlocked standstill,” according to the group’s website. The website included a map of so-called “climate criminals” that includes “corporations, lobbyists, trade cartels, and government institutions that are most responsible for creating the climate crisis.”
By 8:30 a.m. Monday, health-care workers and other activists had gathered at Folger Park on Capitol Hill. Climate protesters had shut down several busy intersections in Washington, including New York Avenue west at Florida Avenue in Northeast, 4th Street a nd New York Avenue NW — causing traffic at the 3rd Street Tunnel to be diverted by police.

So they are targeting individuals with a list?
And the Reds were so irate that Joe McCarthy simply brandished a “list” of known Communists. This is the green mafia looking to harm and target individuals, not simply boycott or blacklist.
Put them in jail. Don’t have a big enough jail? Have the army set up tents on the national mall to host them while incarcerated. You can take them out in packs under armed guard to clean up the litter they left all over the city. It’s a federal district, start treating it that way.
Where’s the police on all this?
A few teams of snipers could have a field day with these green commie degenerates ... but that’s just me.
So the two “teams” are now “climate change protesters” (who would otherwise seem to be protesting climate change), and climate change DENIERS, who variously are attacked for denying that “man”kind causes the evil climate change, and/or for denying that “climate change is real”.
It’s no wonder so many in Big Media simply just repost the script they’ve been provided with that day.
It’s so much easier than independent thought.
Meanwhile, people who work, went to work...
Liberal activists took to the streets in New York City on Friday to save the planet.
Then they left all their trash for someone else to clean up.

They probably plan to choke the place with their trash and bring it to a standstill.
They don’t care about the climate. They want to eliminate the USA as we know it, and turn it into somalia.
We might as well get used to this kind of thing. The Left will continue to be nasty and irrational.
We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
They would do better to shut down the Beltway in a few strategic places. DC has the Ghettro rail for commuters from the MD and VA ‘burbs. People can get in and out. The only real disruption would be to school field trips, the Museums, Federal Express, UPS and other daily deliveries and vendors. But the corporate world will continue to do business.

That same government to take complete control of our livelihoods and sacrifice a few of us to appease the rain gods?
I think they may be working against their own strategic goals with this one...

Third world countries are cool because of the palm trees, azure blue water and tropical climate not because of the government construct. People can’t see beyond the travel posters enough to understand that if you put a third world government and their socialistic policies in the U.S. you get... well, Detroit for one.
Can we get them to shut down the IRS next? What about the EPA and DOE?
How about having Climate demonstrations on a non school day? Until then, it just seems like the latest way to skip school and pretend to be concerned about the environment. Maybe if they demand to end air conditioning in classrooms or participate in a stream bed clean-up, I might take them seriously.
Shut down traffic and let all those cars sit idling with their engines running...brilliant.
