Among the most reassuring promises of Scripture are the “I-Am-With-You” promises.

They begin in Genesis where God says to Isaac, “Fear not, for I am with you” (Genesis 26:24, KJV).

And in Matthew 1:23, “And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (KJV).

We have been told how Jesus got His phyiscal body; the Holy Spirit ‘overshadowed’ Mary, and she conceived.

What we are NOT told is how Mormonism thinks that god the father got HIS body.

Any sources to find this out?

We know that the QUAD states that “no man can see GOD and live” (Exodus 33:20), yet Joseph Smith claimed that he saw BOTH the Father and Jesus.

(Actually he did NOT say this; just that two ‘personages’ were in his midst.)

What we are told however, is that God created Man in his own image. Just as

Surprise! God has not revealed everything there is to know about him. I suppose that he knows that doing so would be equivalent to “casting pearls before swine” to those who can’t handle the truth.

For instance, you can’t even handle the information from the Bible that God has a body and that it was used as a pattern for mankind. You also think that Christ for some reason ditched his body after working so hard to resurrect it.

Unlike you, who believe that God has stopped giving information to man .... except when Councils are developed to declare new creeds. We believe that God is willing and able to give more information to mankind.

God has not revealed the information that you ask. I guess we’re just going to have to wait until he does. (Unlike in 325 A.D. where they got impatient with God and made up stuff about him at the Council of Nicea).

You never explained how Christ desired his followers (us) to be ‘one’ even as he and God are ‘one’ (John 17)

Since you believe that God prays to himself .... is Christ asking us to pray to ourselves?

Give it up ... ‘The Emperor has no Clothes’ .... I could never be a member of a Church that believes that God has a multiple-personality-disorder.

You can’t even prove it with the scriptures! There’s more evidence in the bible against your Creed than there is for it!
