“Where are the mother and the father?“

You can say that about any kid whose parents are out of the house as soon as the kid is 6 months old. Grandmothers are raising kids, strangers at day care it’s rampant.

That’s just in intact families.forget the majority where the father has nothing to do with the mother and child. Society allows for both.

Kids are in a constant state of grieving the loss of their mothers. It’s manifested in many ways. The grandmother could do something about making this child behave but she is angry at something. Probably the absence of her mother

I forget where I heard this, but it's pretty appropriate here:

If you spoil your kids, you'll end up raising your grandkids.
If, however, you raise your kids, you'll get to spoil the grandkids!
