I haven’t seen it yet but given the track record of previous Rambo sequels, it’s probably not going to be that great even though it’s making the critics mad that the Cartels are depicted rightfully as vicious killers. Rocky was another series that they kept making unnecessary mediocre sequels in my opinion.
Rocky is a good comparison. Same thing.
I’m still waiting for Pongo’s review of Rocky 5,000 myself.
The same goes for Star Wars. I saw the original Star Wars in 1977--watched it five times--and then the first two sequels, Star Wars II (1980) and Star Wars III (1983) and the first antecedent, Star Wars IV (1996), but none of these measured up to Star Wars I. I haven't seen any of the subsequent Star Wars films.

Saw it yesterday. It’s the best yet, by far.
Given the times we live in, with illegals and other south of the border scum causing serious problems (i.e., drugs and human trafficking), you’ll enjoy just a bit of nasty revenge for some of the worst of them.
I don’t go to the movies much, but I would have paid twice the asking price of the ticket and been satisfied.
Top Gun sequel: Tom Cruise is back in the cockpit!
