You’ve been busy! Best of luck on the land sale! We have ONE more payment to make and the house and 48 acres are paid for! Yay! (112 acres still on an ag mortgage, but it pays for itself through renting it out.)
Something is up because we keep getting flyers from real estate agents about wanting to buy our property - and that’s never happened before.
I guess it’s a miracle when someone finally has mortgage-free property? There is a REASON to go into retirement with no debt, Duh! ;)

Congrats on no mortgage in another month!
I had my afternoon nap and just got back up from the garden. Not a whole lot to do. I love fall.
Picked and brown bagged some red and white romaine seed heads, disconnected the fountain on the bird bath, was sad the deer came through a second time and ate nearly all the brussel sprouts. I thought they had stopped at just the leaves last week. Should have asked hubby to pee nearby that always works. Did find that they had not eaten the last 2 tomatoes which are the ukranian sabre tomatoes. I wanted them to get ripe for seeds so I had left them. There are only a few seeds in each one so they were precious. So I brought those up.
Was reflecting on another garden year. How blessed we are to have gardens and mark the seasons with one. Each month has it's own blessings and failures it seems. And the hopes for the next year. Leaves are just starting to turn, just a few, but soon it will be a glorious painting we will be living in. I love this thread and all your sharings, blessings and failures alike. And photos especially. You are all dear to me.
