It is good and sweet enough. It’s one of my regular rotating breakfasts. Plus I do it in the microwave and measure. 1/3 cup oats and 2/3 cup water. 1200 watt microwave. 3 minutes 50 seconds at 50 percent. Comes out perfect every time. Plus I use a microwave bowl cozy so no mess.
As some of you know, I was in the Seed/Garden Center Business for 18 of the happiest years of my life. :)
While I was managing one of the Jung Garden Centers, I received this magazine and would read it cover to cover every month. ‘Green Profit’ is a WEALTH of knowledge in the areas of what was new and happening in the Gardening Industry, new plants that would soon be available, destructive pests that were gaining ground, why you should offer your customers this or that, marketing and store display ideas, etc. Kind of Insider Baseball, but for anyone that is interested in how the industry works, or if you’re just nosy, it’s a great read. :)
I still read the publication on line, and it popped up in my email today, so I thought I’d share:
Green Profit Magazine:
And while I’m on the subject, I’m going to post a few Fall Decor pictures of my old store because it really was the JOY of my life for so many years, and I was good at it, too! I LOVE merchandising, and I can seriously only do so much of that at home, LOL! I had a fantastic staff; we worked hard, but we had SO much fun. (I had an awesome Mentor in the business, too.) So many of us that are gone/retired from Jung’s really miss it and we get together a few times a year for various Field Trips and such. Once a Garden Geek, always a Garden Geek. ;)
