Well said. I agree with all of it. Still sad that India aligned with the USSR during the Cold War. Many lost opportunities for both of us!

Thanks for message and reply - I left out a word in my comments, “conservative” I think!

Family is very important to them, religion is important, moral values are important, being a responsible citizen. Love of country is important to them, and honoring history and their culture. Some Americans have wrong ideas about Hinduism, it would be good if that could be corrected eventually somehow. Of course there are plenty of Sikhs in India and the US, too, and they are generally very similar.
