I've said this previously, and I LOVE Maiden. They are basically a progressive metal/hard rock band. They are high energy Live and their albums CONTINUE to be fresh and interesting. They may be the best metal band ever.
But Alice Cooper stole the show when he opened for them in 2012.

One of the best bands was Lou Reed’s band on “Rock and Roll Animal”
Hunter and Wagner were probably the best 1-2 Guitar Punch in Rock Music.
