Roxy Music - now THERE is some good stuff. A former boss told me I had to put away Avalon and listen to For Your Pleasure to get the full effect. He was right.

My preference for this or that band has zero to do with how they work as a soundtrack for whatever extracurricular activity comes along. That said, I may prefer the Stan Kenton Orchestra on Sunday mornings and punk or thrash before a board presentation, The Who when I'm pissed, and Queen when I feel victorious. I think Dark Side is a better album than The Wall but I find myself listening to the latter more than the former.

David Glimour and Wright. I saw on an interview over Syd Barrett and his demise.....both said Wish was their fav album they did

Surprised me.

I like it too but I expected something heavier
