Oh that is so sweet, Rusty.
Thanks for posting.
We are in for the night in Heber, UT.
My mother’s family settled here in Heber/Midway from Switzerland, mom and her siblings born here.
Will take a tour tomorrow.
Today we tried to visit a cousin in Logan, UT but no one was home but the dog and he wouldn’t let me in, guess he couldn’t remember me.
So we decided to see the Great Salt Lake from Antelope Island, forgot how big that sucker is.
You were lucky! 94!

BREAKING: British aviation authority says tour operator Thomas Cook ceases trading, cancelling hundreds of thousands of vacations. http://apne.ws/E1ji9FR
Did the kiddos head back home?
I’m so sorry NIKK. That is such a horrible disease.
They went to the wedding in Paisley, OR yesterday, camped out last night, that’s what one does in Paisley and were starting their trek home this morning, will finish up tomorrow as son has to go to work on Tuesday.
We heard from them yesterday but not today.
Girls were so sad to leave us, they cried all the way to the OR state line.
Too short of a visit, maybe we can plan a longer one next time.
Thank you for asking, Rusty.
>>>>Thomas Cook ceases trading
UK Govt and bank did nothing
Glad you checked in LG. Like hearing where you all are at each night. Take care.
Am calling it a day, off to read...
Amen. Good night.
Awww, how long had it been since you had seen them? These are the kids that moved from Australia to Canada?
Subject: Travel pool report #23-Arrival+OBrien statements
Air Force One arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York at 9:10pm. No sign of POTUS in flight.
Amb. Robert OBrien, the presidents new national security adviser, came back on the plane shortly before landing to speak with the pool. Much of the conversation was off record. He made some ON RECORD remarks confirming reports that hes named Matt Pottinger as his deputy national security adviser (transcribed remarks are below).
POTUS will helo to the Wall Street landing zone, then he will motorcade to the Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, where he is expected to spend the night.
President Trump is in his hometown for four nights, mainly to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
THE FOLLOWING REMARKS ARE ON RECORD, attributable to President Trumps national security adviser Robert OBrien:
Iwant to announce that the first personnel move Im going to make as the assistant to the president for national security affairs is to bring Matt Pottinger on as the deputy national security adviser. Matt has had a distinguished career, he a journalist, hes one of you guys, with the Wall Street Journal. Some of you may have worked with Matt in previous times. He left journalism to go to the United States Marine Corps. he deployed several times to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Marine. He came back and was in the financial industry in New York and then joined the presidents team. Hes one of the originals here at the NSC. Ive worked with Matt the past several years in government. I think Matts one of the most impressive young foreign policy/national defense/national security experts in the government. Hes got a wonderful personality, I think hes a team player. hes going to help me bring some cohesion to the NSC. I thought it was important to promote from within the NSC and especially
promote someone who is as well respected as Matt is. As a friend, Im really looking forward to working with him. The president has high confidence in him. Mick Mulvaney the acting chief of staff has high confidence in him. And I think hes going to be A...great member of the national security team inside the White House.
WHO WILL OVERSEE CHINA/NORTH KOREA PORTFOLIO AT NSC GIVEN MATTS PROMOTION:
I cant give you any names on that yet but I think we will be announcing that in the near future. But I think Matt will still be involved in those issues and will bring a lot of expertise on East Asia, China and the Indo-Pacific to our front office.
IS THIS A NEW FOCUS ON CHINA?
I think the president has made clear that China is a big agenda item for us on the foreign policy/national security front and so Im looking forward to benefiting from Matts expertise. I think its going to benefit me having him at the front office. I think the president is going to appreciate having him available to give him advice not just on the Indo-Pacific but also on the whole portfolio.
Subject: Travel pool report #24-JFK departure
POTUS emerged from Air Force One at 9:23pm on an unusually muggy night for New York following a brief delay in getting the stairs set up.
He waved to the press but didnt speak. Marine One was waiting to take him to the Wall Street Landing Zone. The pool has broken away to board ospreys.
Subject: Travel pool report #25-Wall Street Landing
Marine One was wheels down at the Wall Street Landing Zone at 9:44pm, the pavement lit up by the city lights. Fire trucks waited alongside the Beast as POTUS exited the chopper alongside the East River, the Statute of Liberty visible in the distance. The pool was quickly escorted to the motorcade and didnt see POTUS walk to the Beast.
The motorcade was moving to Trump Tower as of 9:49pm, todays final destination.
Thanks. I dont know about him, but I’d rather be in a war zone than the UN, about the same thing except in a war zone you can shoot them for good reason.
Subject: Travel pool report #26-Trump Tower arrival
The presidents motorcade made its way (quickly) up the FDR drive, turning on to First Avenue at midtown and driving past the UN, where hes spending much of the week.
Barricades lined the city streets, as did curious onlookers, who shot video and photos on their phones. The motorcade crossed town via 52nd Street then took a right on Madison Avenue, where at times, it was required to weave left and right around police cars and motorcycles.
Police presence, always intense during UNGA week, was especially dense in midtown near the Trump Tower. There were few pedestrians walking the streets around Trump Tower.
The motorcade arrived at Trump Tower at 10:05pm more than one hour behind schedule. The pool held in the vans and not see the president arriving home.
Can you find out what vitamins the POTUS takes.
It wears me out just reading his schedule.
He has had one busy week.
Thanks for posting his schedule.
