> It’s starting to get real hard to not think they do this on purpose Dayglored. A whole lot of new computers installed with windows will be sold because of this. Non techy folks just toss them and get a new one rather than fix it.

We all feel sorry for somebody who, by mistake, steps on their own d!ck, or gets their t!t caught in a wringer (depending on sex). But when somebody repeatedly does stupid things, looks like an idiot over and over, and pisses off hundreds of millions of customers, you have to wonder whether they have another agenda.

What I don’t get is with all the programming staff and infrastructure they have available, they obliviously still do not test this stuff very well first, if at all. They just throw it out there blind and put their customers at risk with it. And like you say, over and over.

They are like law makers in congress, Just got to make laws and send them out. Whether they are needed or not, whether they work or not, none of that matters. Just keep passing something/anything and send it out, who cares what the consequences will be.

For a long time now I have been suspicious of MS inventing and sending out a whole lot of updates just for the sake of “sending something/anything” needed or not. The biggest enemy of MS operating systems is MS themselves. They have done more sabotage to their own OS than all the outside hacking ever did to it.

The odds are almost impossible to blame on chance and accident.
