I worked many years for a friend with an exceptional memory.

Once we needed the serial number off a piece of equipment, pulling out my note pad, he says, no need, I'll remember it!

For fun and extra profit, he would come in early to review the invoices and he was very good at it.

I don’t understand people. Why didn’t he just fly to macau or some closer casino hotspot and count cards and earn his money the old fashioned way?

Had a classmate at USNA with photo memory.

He’d read the book the nite before a test and then write down the applicable examples in the text book substituting in the “new” information during the test.

The only problem he usually had is when he was asked to work something he hadn’t seen on the blackboard and actually think for a change.

This could be a sequel for "The 39 Steps" movie.

I worked with a brilliant Brit with a photographic memory. His office was the messiest place you have ever seen — huge stacks of papers everywhere. Zero filing. But if we were discussing a technical problem and he needed a reference resource, he’d go to one of the many stacks and in seconds find the paper in the stack. It was the most amazing thing. He was also a wonderful jazz clarinetist, a humorous raconteur, and wrote amazing doggerel without any editing. It would just flow off his pen in final form.

Me, I try to count cards when playing Hearts online and once about half the cards are out I’m done for. Knowing when a suit is all played out is the key to winning (and figuring out what hands your opponents are holding).

I cannot remember my co-workers names, nor my phone number but I can remember odds and ends. I have a photographic mind but light leaks in blanking out the details.
Must close eyes more......

Too bad the cashier used his exceptional memory for evil, not good.

Good that they caught him.

My wife still has a photographic memory. It isn’t quite what it once was. It has been both a blessing and a curse for her.

My brothers and mother all had photographic memories. Not me.

"to review invoices"

That was my first EX.

She remembered EVERY damn thing 'cept the stuff she did.
