A gay Bronx student who said he fatally stabbed a high-school classmate after years of being bullied was sentenced to 14 years in prison Tuesday.
Bronx Judge Michael Gross sentenced Abel Cedenoafter a bench trial for the 2017 classroom killing at the now-closed Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation. Mr. Cedeno, who is 20 years old, was found guilty of manslaughter, assault and a weapons charge on July 15.
The death of Mr. Cedeno’s classmate, 15-year-oldMatthew McCree,was the first homicide in more than 20 years at a New York City public school.

The “verdict” was by a judge, not by a jury, and probably will not stand up under appeal.

Watch the video. The violent assault by the deceased - nowhere near his first - is what you are justifying.
Your kind does not belong here.
You’re justifying not just one violent assault but years of them, by a dead animal that got what was coming to him.
Of course the victim has the right to self defense.
And it is plain and clear that all responsible adult parties failed utterly. The animal that was killed already had more than enough of a record of violence and aggression that he should never have been let loose around other children.
Not only should the verdict be overturned - and it probably will - but the kid should be handed a medal. He probably saved many future victims of violent crime.
And if you’re going to persist in being annoying, at least learn to read signup dates to reduce how stupid you look.

Something ringing in my ears..........Oh yeah. A little rhyme we used to be taught. Stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Guess not so much anymore. Words lead to hate crimes these days. Physical bullying? Handle it.
