Who drinks diet soda from a glass? It comes in cans for a reason!

Good news for the lawyers. This is a bigger class in a class action lawsit than baby pwder or cigarettes. No warnings on the product, and the purveyors KNEW the risk of harm to health and risk of premature death.

Participants who drank two or more glasses of soft drinks per day had a higher risk of mortality than those who consumed less than one glass per month. Horribly written, death so far has a one to one ration. One death for every birth...

Yup. Hauled before Jerry Nadler to beg for forgiveness.
I don’t drink soda much anymore (always on a diet!) but this calls for some delicious bottled Coke (probably Mexican with real sugar).

repeat after me “Correlation is not causation”
The last time I looked into one of these studies diet soda drinkers had a worse diet than the average person. Reason being they thought drinking diet sodas was like a get out of jail free card.
That said the difference in mortality is 2%. So my first question is, what is the difference between the two populations.
Many people who already have higher risk of certain diseases will drink diet soda.

I drink Diet Coke daily and since it are out in the mid 80’s. My lovely wife mentioned this article to me recently and I don’t buy it. Sounds like a setup for a giant class-action to me.

It’s the carbon in soda. Carbon is killing us. The science is settled.

New study finds everyone will die of something, sometime, anyway.

If that's the case...then the entire sugar thing was absurd. They cancel themselves out. You died because someday....ya gotta die.
Eat, drink what you want. The governemtn is not your keeper. Use common sense.

Regular consumption of soft drinks both sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened was associated with a greater risk of all causes of deathThis an apples-oranges comparison no different from those comparing vegetarians versus non-vegetarians. The morbidly obese man ahead of me in the checkout line loading his cart up with all manner of processed foods and ordering a carton of smokes is not a vegetarian but I am lumped into the same category of meat eater as he is.

Soda kills more people than guns. Time to ban soda.
