Marilyn Monroe was a size 14.

A size 14 when Marilyn Monroe was alive is more like a size 8-10 today.

Wal-Mart is chock full of them. At 315lbs I was amazed how many women and girls were bigger than me.

A low carb diet is a good start.

> and I also had recently gained 60 pounds.

That’s not a fashion problem. Eat fresh vegetables, avoid high calorie toppings, stick to lean meat and take a walk once in a while. Problem solved.

I can’t stand lean meat. Fat is flavor is a saying for chefs and cooks around the world.

Such is the life working for a fashion publication.

Here I thought you made that graphic to shame these women and no, we are being sold muumuus as the next fashion trend.

Meanwhile it’s still okay to fat shame dad bods.

from the article: “Plus-size women represent 68% of shoppers”

sounds like obesity is a big problem

Also from the article:

First off cut or ripped jeans haven't been new or edgy since the Ramones first wore them as a stage uniform starting in 1974.

Also, if you're plus size, it's best not to draw attention to fabric busting at the seams like this.

I notice in this article the terms “fatphobic” and “straight-size”.

so is fat the new gay?

I looked at the photos of the supposed fashion consultants and don’t see from where they are in a position to advise others on how to dress “in style”.
