Free at age 18?
The kid picked the wrong state.
Probably. Unless he commits suicide when the weight of what he’s done catches up with him.
Free at age 18?
Many years ago I got to teach a juvenile who was in for a murder he committed at about this kid’s age. The laws in MO, at the time, mandated he be released on his 18th birthday. He’d be pushing 60 now, if he’s still alive.
He can be tried as an adult. Throw away the key. It’s one thing to be mad at your parents but what did his little brothers and sister do to him? Bad seed.
I think Alabama can hold him until he is 21. Pretty short sentence for 5 murders.
As far as I’m concerned, the age of accountability for murder is 12.
