Legacy Of Spies, by John Le Carre
[is his name pronounced "Le Car" or "Le Car-ay"? Where's Lone Palm when we need him?]
I downloaded the image of the books and played with contrast etc to try and see about the “white book”
But no luck almost looks like it was shopped to not be there
i’m obviously not lone palm lol... but his name, not lone palm, is pronounced “lay care-ay” and preferably like peter sellers would pronounce it lol. oh, and get this, which i did not know, that’s his nom de plume! his real name is david john moore cornwell.
petey (no my dog does not bite)
It most likely had an accent on the end at one time.
In French, carré has different meanings depending on how it is used. It can mean square or solid. When referring to a garden it means patch or plot.
