Shipping will need to be like the great WWII air lifts into bombed out London, with planes landing every two minutes with critical food and supplies. US must do the same with ships, to save the Bahama people, places and things. So devestating.
USGS has been taking survivors off via chopper but I have heard there are pictures of lots of dead people. I personally have not clicked on those links.
Are you sure you are not talking about the Berlin Air Lift - right after The Wall was built? I don't think there were enough relief supply planes in existence at the time of the London bombings to land there every two minutes.
