CBD with a THC component will only be available in States with medical or recreational marijuana.

Misleading, it's currently not FDA regulated, you don't really don't know what's in CBD oil or how much THC is in it. So making the more powerful THC version available in the "states with medical or recreational marijuana" won't change the fact that other products with drug-test detectable amount of THC may still be sold anywhere, under current law.

In a pharmaceutical state it is highly regulated. It is after all a medical prescription. It can take a couple of years for a State that has adopted medical mj to establish the protocols for this. The stuff is tested for content in laboratory settings and content’s and quantities are listed.

What is in CBD?

Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of some 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract.

Now you know what CBD is. It’s not what’s in it - it is what it is. An oil extract of a cannabis plant.

Oh and I forgot - Why does it need FDA approval? Can’t the State do that if it is only available in that State? Why need Federal approval??
