it took us 5 days standing on line, mostly outdoors in the hot sun
Three hours will be the wait time to pull a number to enter the lottery to get the next appointment for healthcare.
Evidently the irony of the situation escaped him.
Oh the ironing
Note: The Babylon Bee.
Note: The Babylon Bee.
Although I don’t doubt that the irony is indeed lost on many in this world.
Whenever people talk in favor of universal, government health care, I counter with *They can’t even run the DMV and PO right. I don’t want them in charge of my health care.* (For real, that is not satire)
It usually shuts down the conversation.
Heh...
Yet to pay a bill or buy a lottery ticket there is no wait whatsoever.
I sent my info into DMV on the internet and got my tabs three days later.
The last time I had to go into DMV it was a wait of three minutes in line, and another three to have them print out a new registration.
Oh. In my state (Washington), the DMV is run by a private company. I think I had to pay an extra $5 processing fee on my $200+ Washington state car tabs.
It really surprised me, that as Communist as Washington State is - they went to private DMV years ago.
LoL!

I live The Bee
Factcheck sez they maybe fake deepfake
This sounds more like a sarcastic post he could’ve made. I would have to read the blog not someones take on the post.
It’s satire. There never was a 5000 word blog.
Now calling number 7,542...
At least he did something useful with his time - according to his lights - instead of just staring at his feet.
(I’ve never understood all this moaning about the DMV. I live in ‘the freak state’, right outside of DC; and it’s been 25 years since I’ve had to wait very long at the MVA. Ours has been working very well, so I guess even Maryland is doing better than California...)
A couple of years ago I went to the Waldorf Md DMV to title and register a car. It took me 4 hours and I had to deal with the most miserable people I ever saw.
I recently bought another car and used two separate tag and title express locations. It was like night and day, no miserable people and courteous service. Twenty minutes and ten minutes respectively, the extra fees were worth every penny.
I guess it depends on where you are. Our experiences with the location on Rte. 29, Silver Spring/White Oak - where they have both the MVA and the emissions testing - have always been excellent.
(It does help to pay attention to the days/times that they tell you are best.)
