Hubby and I started 27 July. Feeling better than we have in years. Yesterday morning I had bacon and scrambled eggs, did our regular hike in local park, worked outside in garden for a few hours, and wasn’t even hungry again until about 3:30 or so. He has an appointment with his endo this week. Can’t wait to see how his labs have improved. :)

Do understand some blood values can temporarily increase before staying permanently lower. LDL will likely go up, but so will HDL, while triglyceride will plummet to much lower values.

There is a difference between LDL and VLDL, which normal tests don’t show. They behave differently in our bodies.

You will note LDL for Joe Blow has as its content 25% protein. This, coupled with the small percentage of fat it carries, could explain why LDL creeps up for awhile.
