Final count was 29 ears, by an ag-agent from Rutgers, who certified it to Guiness. Guiness then accepted it as the new record holder.
Previous record was 16 ears, in Iowa.
I really laughed when I read, “the squirrels planted it, not me;” and that he didn’t even fertilize it.
Hope somebody knowledgeable gets some of the seeds from it.
Pretty amazing. Mother Nature wins another round. :)
