The festival’s venerable Orgy Dome — once a symbol of all that was Burning Man: decadent, foolhardy, almost Caligulan — has slid into obsolescence, a victim of societal trends like the litigation explosion, sexual correctness and the #MeToo movement.
Consider the account of a Reddit user who recently visited the Orgy Dome. He said that after he had been issued a ticket, a wrist band and a briefing about properly obtained consent, visiting the Orgy Dome “felt more like I was waiting to pick up a lawn mower at Sears.”

Burning Man used to be cool but now most of the Burners are old. What once was free you have to get tickets for and many of the burners are Narks. Instead of a gathering of the counter culture it more closely resembles a meeting of The Good Sam Club.

The only burner I ever knew is about 70 now. He was really into it, wouldn’t miss it for anything, so I’d imagine he’s still going.

Yeah. Apparently now "orgy" means you and your monogamous partner can now hump each other in a crowd of other monogamous couples. Except on Thursdays, between 11-12:30, wherein you can swap. But the swapping stops at 12:30! So... well... better be "done" by then. LOL!
