I do have a weapon but do not carry, I would like to but understand it is hard to get a permit in California.
BTW, the perp held his gun out front...at chest level the entire time ...which was a few hours long.

Not pointed. He wore a dirty shirt, partly unbuttoned.
he held his gun in his hand,,,but kept his gun in his hand, hidden inside if the shirt, He would casually bring his hand with his gun out, then put it back inside the shirt.
