Tried it, didn’t like it. Weak voice, can’t seem to hold a note. Too much “vocal stylization” for my taste.

Here’s the Billie Holliday version. I much prefer it. Did not have the advantages of modern recording technology. She has a smokey raspy voice of a singer in a cheesy nightclub, but she could hold her notes:
