In all of the pictures I’ve seen of her, she is modestly and well dressed, so though she’s an IDIOT and really needed to be fired, I don’t don’t see why anyone would infer anything nasty about her outward appearance. She’s no Monica Lewinsky!

from what I read, Kelly wanted her in that position and she was supposed to keep people from access to Trump and then report back to Kelly what was said if they did gain access...she sounded like a little spy to me.

Shh. You are not supposed to notice that. The cookie-cutters consider support of Donald Trump to be literally the same as regarding him as a flawless demi-god who has never and will never make a human mistake.

I chose to vote for him on day one. I regard him as a multiple adulterer - something which, as someone formerly in ministry, I will never view benignly (as do some “conservatives” on this forum) - with great private-sector skills, but a man who was elected by We The People, and is thus answerable to Us, not some sort of king to rule over us.

I always feel free to use my First Amendment rights to speak critically of an elected official - no matter who it is. I have been watching the Swamp carefully for decades, and am well informed.

The people here who get enraged - truly enraged at times - over any criticism of Donald Trump remind me of the ancient Israelites: They were not content to be led by mere prophets and judges; they demanded to have a dictatorial king - like every other nation. They got their wish.

I agree, Lee. Perry is allowing Trump to stay in the limelight, and the energy sector is perfect for an ex-governor of Texas.

He could arise in 2024.

And it makes sense what your say about Ben. High quality guy, but a low key and cerebral man, not well-suited to be a politician.

If they’d beheaded her and confiscated her family’s lands and put her corpse in a gibbet out front on Penn ave

Might have made a clearer message on leaking

He came into this as an outsider, but didn’t go outside to fill these positions. He could have found MAGA candidates with some effort.

There is an entrenched apparatus that runs the White House. The national, international and economic issues that faced newbie Trump in the first days of his administration seemed to him greatly more important than office staffing. To him, having been a tough boss for decades, you tell your personnel staff to hire loyal people and they just do that. He has been confounded by the essential duplicity and selfshness of DC operatives.

I recall a story soon after he took office about the head of the White House personnel office put out an order that no one who volunteered for the Trump campaign or identified themselves as interested in MAGA should be hired. It took our President some time to work out that many of the jackals attracted to working in DC are natural weasels and jackals.

He simply cannot trust anyone - no one. The reward is too great and inviting for any act of betraying Donald.

She'll be on CNN by next week.

Dr. Ben has never struck me as media savvy, a showboat, front man or someone who enjoyed the limelight. He is a fine surgeon and most likely a good medical instructor. That’s where he shines, in the hospital.

Agree that he is not a showboat; but he was first offered the job of Surgeon General and then Secretary of Education, but he chose HUD. He found billions of accounting errors and fraud in HUD, for starters. That alone has contributed enormously. He has also interfaced quietly with black sports and entertainment figures who want to help urban blight but do not want the publicity of appearing to support Trump.

Dr. Carson is a man of integrity. He has also battled cancer in the past, so maybe he needs to take some time off. Many people leave after two years, much less four.

On the flip side one can argue that the people behaving more like the ancient Israelites are the Pharisaical Christians who can’t get on board with Trump because he isn’t ‘good’ enough.

Who do they expect? Jesus?

The president is not the messiah.

Some people just need to attack Trump. That’s the reason behind the comments.
