Shh. You are not supposed to notice that. The cookie-cutters consider support of Donald Trump to be literally the same as regarding him as a flawless demi-god who has never and will never make a human mistake.

I chose to vote for him on day one. I regard him as a multiple adulterer - something which, as someone formerly in ministry, I will never view benignly (as do some “conservatives” on this forum) - with great private-sector skills, but a man who was elected by We The People, and is thus answerable to Us, not some sort of king to rule over us.

I always feel free to use my First Amendment rights to speak critically of an elected official - no matter who it is. I have been watching the Swamp carefully for decades, and am well informed.

The people here who get enraged - truly enraged at times - over any criticism of Donald Trump remind me of the ancient Israelites: They were not content to be led by mere prophets and judges; they demanded to have a dictatorial king - like every other nation. They got their wish.

On the flip side one can argue that the people behaving more like the ancient Israelites are the Pharisaical Christians who can’t get on board with Trump because he isn’t ‘good’ enough.

Who do they expect? Jesus?

The president is not the messiah.
