Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell said Thursday that she wished for Hurricane Dorian to make a “direct hit” on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
The strengthening storm churned over the warm, open waters of the Atlantic on Thursday as forecasts showed Dorian tracking toward Florida’s east coast — prompting Trump to warn Dorian “will be BIG!”
Forecasters believe the storm will strengthen into a Category 3 hurricane by Friday, and stay well east of the southern and central Bahamas before making a turn toward Florida by Sunday afternoon. At that time, the latest NHC forecast is for the storm to make landfall Monday as a Category 4 storm.
However, Campbell saw a silver lining in the potential damage that could be caused by the massive storm.
“I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!” she tweeted on Thursday. …

She was PM for, what, four months before her party got wiped out in the next election? As I recall, it was a historic loss, and she lost her own seat in Parliament. That’s what she’ll be remembered for. That, and for being a foul-souled old crone who thinks it virtuous to wish destruction on people.

Pretty sure Trump has great home and flood insurance for Mar-a-lago. He would get a spanking new home built from insurance coverage.
Trump would end up ahead and with a completely new home, instead of that aged home. Besides, Trump would still have his spectacular Trump Tower to live in when necessary. And, he could stay in one of his posh hotels.

This revolting person was PM for a little over 4 months in 1993 because Brian Mulroney resigned and she inherited the office just as an election was getting under way. She was only PM for the duration of the election and essentially was campaigning and not actually running anything. The Liberals slaughtered the Progressive Conservatives and it took quite a while for a sane PM to return to the office. Stephen Harper in 2006.
She was essentially a non entity but got some sinecures later for being PM. Thats why most here have never heard of her. I don’t recall anything memorable about her but these anti Trump rants will be what she is remembered for.
