When I bowl alone I prefer to be by myself.
This article is stealing its title from an important book that was published almost 20 years ago. The problems in play were already in full-swing even then.
The clergy is much to blame. There was another article about this posted earlier.
The leftward drift of the clergy coupled with the Catholic Church’s moral collapse has chased people away.
If I had to take a guess.....the Age of the Gentiles comes to an end (the fall of the USA by implication and Israel becomes center stage once again, and we are marching down that road.

I’ve lived in communist countries. Bowling leagues don’t exist, gardening societies don’t exist, churches certainly do NOT exist. Anything that is organized or binds people together outside the control of state is absolutely forbidden.
You know, in American civil society, it’s considered to be impolite to post only an excerpt from your own blog.
In one of my many “wouldn’t it be nice”, (uh ooh), has been using effigies of congress critters as bowling pins facing a bronze 6-pounder, with the real folks tied up, out of the way, being peltted with last week’s over ripe produce.
You can’t have any groups of like-minded individuals, otherwise the “diversity police” will step in.
Bowling Alone studied the breakdown in social cohesion caused by too much diversity. And maybe the biggest engine driving that increase in diversity and the cultural breakdown has the been massive legal migration from the third world that began in 1965. California is the prime example.

Tomorrow the destruction of Americans.
Destroying civil society was an essential part of the liberals’ drive for absolute power. We need to repeal the policies that have been undermining civil society. We also need to get out and find ways to help our communities and neighbors.

Federals laws ended prayer and “religious instruction” activities in the schools. The DNC is in Washington, and they booed God at their party’s convention. It’s Washington, and it’s terrible what they’ve done.
Two things I have begun to hate: telephones and pets. Both take people attention away from their fellow human beings.
Also people who don’t know how to converse. Okay, they are lonely because all they interact with is their telephones and pets. But when you get into a conversation with them, they talk and talk and talk, and interrupt you to talk some more, and talk over you. Nonstop, until you can literally get a headache.
If people have a radio on at work, I hate it. But if someone is being emotional and making some noise in person, it doesn’t bother me a bit. The first one is canned entertainment. The second one is real life.
