now we'll get the long, never ending war on weed....because the govt knew weed legalization was a very bad thing...

I just hope the weeders get taxed to oblivion to pay for their treatment in the future..or maybe they'll just add extra fees onto marriage licenses because we all know marriage licences seem to fund all the vices.

How’s that “War on Drugs” going? About as well as the “War on Poverty” and the “War on Terror”.

They are all Fedzilla moneymakers. Cash cows for the oligarchy.

BS. They had supremely stoney bud and even imported hash way back in the day, but it was expensive. Now it’s ubiquitous.

I heard this same story in the 1980s comparing contemporary weed to weed from the 1960s.

Most of is here are sceptical of global warming even though some scientists say it’s real. Some scientist say “marijuana bad” and we all take their findings as gospel.

I started smoking Mexican ditch weed when I was 16. Smoke two joints and it felt like you had a couple of beers. My friends and I would go out and play in the woods and have a good time. By the time I was 26 it had been hybridized and the potency was overwhelming. 2-3 puffs and I’d be catatonic. That was NOT fun. I quit and haven’t touched it since. I have friends who have continued to smoke it (I’m almost 68 now) and they are complete burn-outs. People who claim it is harmless are FOS.

Idiots. The ‘War on Drugs’ is nothing but a war on the American people for the creation of a black market for elite fun and profit. The well-connected in America make money by putting American in prison while they skim profits from cartels via payoffs.

All things must end and when this farce ends there will probably be extreme violence.

“This ain’t your mother’s marijuana,” Adams said. […]

OF COURSE IT ISN'T! Ditch weed isn't indica (for example) or quality hydroponically grown weed.
Who is going to spend their money buying ditch weed these days when they can buy superior weed instead???
Growers know this so they grow and sell better varieties because dirt weed doesn't sell at all.

Analogy - Good wine or Ripple?

Federal officials say they fear the trend toward legalization may make it more enticing for teenagers to try marijuana.

Ummm... at least 40% of all US students have tried marijuana. There's not that many more who would try it that haven't already.

Legalization will NOT entice teenagers to try pot. Straw man argument. It's easier for high school kids to get pot than anyone else.

The more potent it is, the less you need to get high. Too many people are scaremongers and know nothing about pot (but are OK with beer and alcohol!).

So you’re drinking liquor instead of beer. Adjust use accordingly.

And keep it away from kids. 21 may be too young to be legal. Wouldn’t bother me if they raised the legal age to 30.

Recreational cannabis is legal in my state now. I think I’m seeing it in the quality of the driving, not to mention pedestrians not paying attention to where they’re going.

Marijuana is well documented in studies as causing permanent psychosis and schizophrenia, especially in young users.

The wildwood flower grew wild on the farm,
And we never knowed what it was called.
Some said it was a flower and some said it was weed,
I never gave it much thought
One day I was out there talking to my brother,
Reached down for a weed to chew on,
Things got fuzzy and things got blurry,
And then everything was gone!
Didn’t know what happened,
But I knew it beat the hell out of sniffin’ burlap.

The dea is setting up the marijuana industry just like they did with opioids. We are seeing the same thing. Commie tactic of buying the rope from the capitalist to hang them.

In 2012-2016 Dea allowed opioid production to increase by 40% even though they knew about the “crisis”.

We have all seen the Don’t Drink and Drive billboards and the MADD adds. I saw a new one here now that we have legalized “medical” marijuana that anyone can get a prescription for if they have $125. Big billboard: “Don’t Drive Stoned”.

Our brilliant state legislature has now passed a law that prohibits discrimination in hiring or firing if the candidate or employee for a job tests positive for marijuana.

Wonderful.

Just another state full of idiots, Oklahoma where the roads all suck and everyone complains.

The drug has also gotten stronger, with a three-fold increase in the concentration of the active ingredient THC in cultivated plants over the last 20 years.

Yeah..they been saying that for 40 years...Were it true, just rolling it would send you to Mars.

THAT said, there are many harmful effects that should be honestly reported and listed free from the scarey boogeyman hype. Such as memory loss and dampened motivation to name a couple...

I forget the rest....
