Former Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker said Wednesday he believes Andrew McCabe will soon be indicted on federal charges, based on reporting that the former FBI deputy director’s attorneys recently met with Justice Department officials.
Whitaker said in a Fox News interview that McCabe’s lawyers’ meeting with Deputy Attorney General [DAG] Jeffrey Rosen, which The New York Times reported Monday took place last week, appears to have been what’s known as a “DAG appeal.”
Whitaker said “sophisticated defense lawyers” ask for the meetings “to lay out your case as to why your client shouldn’t be charged.”
“I have not seen a DAG appeal be successful. I have seen them many times, again, with sophisticated defense lawyers, but this is usually when somebody is imminently going to be charged, they try to get to the deputy attorney general and plead their case,” said Whitaker, who was a U.S. attorney and chief of staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

My conclusion from all this is its just confirmation that the United States of America is completely corrupted. There is no recovering from that. Trump is just a temporary reprieve. In ten years time we will all look like san francisco.

I don’t think so. Not the ten years part. I remember reading Ferfal’s book and him saying when things go south they go south in 60 minutes. We have all been preparing for the “Southward Excursion” for some time and IMHO are VERY prepared for it. Just my opinion but I do believe we can be done with the ugliness in very short order. In this “just in time” economy the stress is gonna be 100% very quickly and the suffering will be no doubt massive but people will quickly long for an end to the chaos. Keep your little pocket Constitution handy because I really give it just a few months and the survivors will quickly embrace The New Republic of America.
I know folks thought the Civil War would end quickly as well but over 90% for those people were able to provide their own food (if the army didn’t steal it). It won’t take more than 6 weeks IMHO for the survivors to be determined and after that it is paperwork and Kumbaya. We just have to get through the denial, grief, etc., etc. and move on.
Matthew Whitaker, so far he’s been impressive. I hope he continues that record.

When will McCabe be granted immunity?
As I anticipated, lots of defeatist comments on this thread.
For now, prosecuting RATs has to take a back seat to neutralizing them, that is, keeping them out of public office.
Satisfying as it might be to see some of these traitors sent to prison, we also don’t want to run the risk of the media turning them into martyrs — and low-information voters buying into the scam.
And you know that’s exactly what the communist media would try to do. It wouldn’t fool real conservatives, but there’s a lot of rubes out there who could be bamboozled into voting RAT after hearing such sob stories.
Trump is the master of timing and misdirection. I sense that political revenge against the RATs and the RAT media will be a second-term project.
Between the accomplishments of his administration thus far — and the fact that the RAT candidate field resembles a typical day room crowd at Creedmoor — prosecutions could well become a distraction from the campaign ahead. And it’s still relatively early in a long, long game.
Things are rough, and I’m no cockeyed optimist. But we ain’t lost our country yet.
And remember ... Comey, McCabe, and the rest of the swampers are someday going to have to answer to the Lord for their miserable, corrupt lives. I can’t speak for Him ... but I wouldn’t want to be James Comey applying for admission at the Pearly Gates.

Schools open next week for about half the country. If I had kids in the public schools I would seriously consider keeping them home next week. Something tells me they need a serious distraction and soon. I hope I am wrong but I have been right in predicting one, the Parkland shooting. Something told me they needed a big distraction and did they ever get one.
Well yes McCabe has already ratted out Comey when he said Comey “authorized” him to leak and Comey testified that he didn’t. This is on record.
But re the DAG appeal, I recall Karl Rove flitting back and forth to the Grand Jury when they were going after him and Scooter Libby for “outing” Valerie Plame. It did not work for Scooter, but ole Turd Blossom skated.
