I will help you out. I think Catholics are making a huge mistake staying with the belief given the leadership of the church in the past few years.
I don't know of anyone that is "aggressively pro Catholic" here. If they're i will challenge their faith with basic logic on why they shouldn't.

The Leadership of the Church is not monolithic and does not represent the Church.
The Church is the entire body of Christ and exist through the centuries regardless of the leadership of the Church.
