So it looks as if the go to argument AGAINST Brexit will be the ability to take your pet puppy with you when traveling with the EU?

I can totally see the AD campaign “Vote NO on Brexit! Do it for the Children! Ahhh I mean puppies”. —— A wise man once said,... BE extra careful whenever the argument used FOR or AGAINST something leads off with one the following TWO themes.

1. It’s to PREVENT terrorism !!! OR 2. It’s for the CHILDREN —. In this case substitute PUPPIES

These 2 themes intend to invoke an emotional response at the expense of common sense arguments FOR or AGAINST some deliberate action.

There seem to be many,many people who believe that Brexit will be a catastrophe of unimaginable destruction. I can't for the life of me understand why the nations of Western and Central Europe can't have a relationship with one another like the relationship that exists between the US and Canada.

A 4,000 mile long border without a single soldier stationed on either side.A strong,vibrant,trading relationship with goods and services flowing freely in both directions.Two entirely sovereign countries where,although citizens travel freely and easily in both directions,nobody has a "right" to even *enter* the other country,let alone live and work there.

I believe that the US and Canada are the very best example that's ever existed in human civilization of friendly neighbors.

Britain has, or at least did have, a strict quarantine law for pets entering the country to prevent rabies—Britain being an island and all. Hawaii has the same policy—something like a couple of months. Has that changed?
