Great series. Initially had no interest...for 10 years. Watched the first episode on a slow day. Got hooked. Great writing. Great character development...VERY little gratuitous explicit language and sex. Just a good story.
That's what happened top my wife and I. The show had been wrapped up for a year or so when we started watching it on Netflix. I already knew how it ended but that didn't matter. Took about three episodes before the bug bit and then it was a wild ride nonstop. One of the greatest shows on television. I've rewatched it a few times since and always catch something new.
I became intrigued when Myth Busters kept testing events from the show.
Then I got a 4k TV and heard that BB was available on Netflix in 4k (years back now). Watched the first episode and was hooked. The way the characters evolved was unlike anything I’ve seen in another drama.
I don’t have cable and didn’t see it until I went up to my daughter’s house and binge watched. It’s a terrific series. Still don’t have cable but will probably see the movie —at her house, of course.
We started watching “Goliath” on Prime, and commented a few times on how the “aura” of it was a lot like Breaking Bad. The first season was excellent. The second season was sadistic, disgusting, had no real ending, and we regret watching it. Last night we got half-way through Season 3, and shut it off. We’re done.
Not much sex, but the language is TERRIBLE if F-bombs are offensive to someone.
