I have no idea about this controversy of "Obama on Netflix"
The beauty of Netflix is that you get to pick what you want to watch. And trust me, none of that is Obama. I don't even see Obama when I log in to Netflix and get all those icons of shows that are recommended for me. I'm guessing that Netflix knows I have no interest in anything about Obama.
Breaking Bad was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I also like the spin-off series called "Better Call Saul." So I'll definitely be seeing this Jesse Pinkman movie.
Now people tell me that "Game Of Thrones" is now the best TV series ever made and they might be right. I have not yet seen it except for clips on the YouTube (which look pretty good).
So now I have begun to read the "Game of Thrones" in book form, because I always like to read the book before seeing the movie when that is possible. I'm halfway through "Game Of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin and I'm hooked!
However, it turns out "Game of Throwns" is but the first book in the series called "A Song of Fire and Ice" by Martin. There are already 5 books in publication with two additional books planned. Now these are huge books - doorstoppers. Even with the five books already out, this is over 4,000 pages of reading.
FWIW, I read the first book. Loved it.
I read the second book. Was a slog, finished it, didn’t enjoy all of it.
I tried the third book, got part way through and realized I hasn’t enjoyed a single part of it. Stopped.
The TV series? 7 good seasons, last season was just bad.
YMMV
“Now people tell me that “Game Of Thrones” is now the best TV series ever made and they might be right. “
Not even close to “Breaking Bad.” I found Game of Throne tedious and overwrought.
