Patrick Byrne, who just resigned as Overstock’s CEO after revealing a romantic relationship with accused Russian spy Maria Butina, claimed in a wild CNN interview Thursday night that the highest echelons of the FBI directed him to pursue the tryst.
He was a CEO. Could have had any woman he wanted.
He was dating an unattractive Russian woman.
I don’t rule out his story.
Give him a lie detector test.
And go from there.
It looks like that link has been taken down. Seems someone didn’t want it to be seen any more.

So what possible connection is Byrne’s “romance” with Maria Butina supposed to have with Spygate?
Byrne is claiming that he was in a room with Strzok and McCabe when they were discussing their plot to spy on Hillary Clinton, something absolutely no one else has charged, including Hillary.
It’s ridiculous that they would spy on Hillary considering that she paid for the Steele Dossier is smack in the middle of the plot to spy on Trump.
And it’s equally ridiculous that a couple of coup plotters would openly discuss what they are doing in front of someone with no need to know.
Byrne sounds like a loon at best.
More evidence to my theory epstein was a Cia owned asset. He was blackmailing politicians and business people. Democrats took the bait and that’s why the Deep state likes them... They can control them.

I agree this is a strange claim on his part; something we've never heard before.
One possibility is Strzok and McCabe told him they were investigating everyone so he wouldn't suspect they were specifically targeting only Trump but that's pure supposition on my part.
Until he presents evidence (if he has any) it's all unfounded claims and speculation.

I don't know about the CNN or Martha m interview, but during the fox business interview he didn't allege Hillary was spied on.
He specifically called it political espionage. That could mean different things re trump v Hillary. For Hillary, could mean they were trying to help her win an election.
Which interview did he say that in? CNN or fox's Martha M?
It wasn't the fox business interview cause in that one he alleged political espionage but not spying.
Had a close relative who was a rich biz owner go to Russia on a hunting trip. Was supplied with copius amounts of booze and whores. Cut the trip short because of VD infection.

now MSM is trying to make the story about FBI spying on Clinton. Bloomberg only names Clinton here (their whole article is rubbish) and uses “Russian investigation” in place of Trump’s name:

I agree, but it is more than that:
Leftists are drawn to centralized power and the public sector far more than rightists.
DC bureaucracies will always be heavily Democrat.
