Uh...shoot it.
There is something very strange about the way this lion is hunting us. Im at the end of my rope.
They deserve it for being so passive. Ok, not everyone likes guns. But is it so really hard to make an anti-freeze meatball?
“...anti-freeze meatball...”
+1.
Bullets are the answer to this problem.
Fwiw, an Army buddy & his wife (Doris) retired to a farm near ACCIDENT, MD - As they live “a good distance from” a military commissary, they make a monthly trip to Ft Meade to “stock up” on staples/frozen food.
In NOV 2011, they returned from their monthly “grocery run” & with their PU packed full.- Bill said, “Sweetie, go on in & put the coffee on. I’ll start unloading the truck & bring in the groceries.”- Doris said, “OK.”
When he had an arm-load, he propped the door open & then made several more trips loaded down with more groceries. - On the next trip inside & with both arms full, he saw a LARGE puma in the living room & between him & his wife.
After dropping the sacks, he drew his .45 pistol & quietly started trying “circling around the cat” to get into the kitchen & to Doris.
(The big cat snarled at Bill & then started backing toward the kitchen.)
At that point, Bill shot at but missed the cat, which fled out the front door.
Bill said, (after his breathing returned to normal) that Doris said, “WHAT the H are you shooting at?”
“A COUGAR”, Bill said.
Doris said, “Really? Where is it?”
“It ran outside & hopefully far away.”, said Bill.
(It turned out that she had “missed all the excitement.”)
Fwiw, Bill & Doris have seen the big cat, some distance away, several times since that day in 2011 but the puma has not tried entering the house again for a “home visit”, so far.

“Now, libs have given bears, lions, wolves, etc., greater value than people, most alarmingly, greater value than young children.”
Yep. They’re from cultures foreign to ours and have been pouring in to saturate our country for several generations to take over business and politics.
Adolf Hitler and vegetarianism

Alexander Cockburn also wrote of Hitler:
Nazi leaders were noted for love of their pets and for certain animals, notably apex predators like the wolf and the lion...Goebbels said, famously, The only real friend one has in the end is the dog. . . The more I get to know the human species, the more I care for my Benno....On the one hand, monsters of cruelty towards their fellow humans; on the other, kind to animals and zealous in their interest...Hitler was given films by a maharaja which displayed animals killing people. The Führer watched with equanimity. Another film showed humans killing animals. Hitler covered his eyes and begged to be told when the slaughter was over.[29]
Generally, you’ll scare mountain lions away, if you’re an adult and facing them. The more familiar they eventually get with you, though, the more the risk of attack. They short, quick screeches more than anything, by the way, like some kind of big bird, late at night (*not* as heard on TV). Also contrary to myths perpetrated by wildlife “officials,” they like dog food, especially in the winter, but only if the dog is not present or alert to their presence. Don’t leave small children outdoors by themselves in jurisdictions ruled by creepy worshipers of predators.
Oops. They *emit* short, quick screeches more than anything,... (probably the female mating call). Spotlight them, if you hear that late at night. Then, you’ll see.
Hakuna Matata!
We had one at our little citys swimming pool in the middle of the city.
We had one a few years back in the garden center of a store.
There are too many of them.
Here in The Alamo City, we have at least ONE very large male PUMA that has been seen on surveillance cameras numerous times, in Downtown San Antonio, “strolling around in parking lots & near the buildings at night”.
A local TX Game Warden has seen several videos of the cat & opined that it is an “- - - - about 125 pound, well-nourished, male cougar.” & “He obviously is well-fed & likely is living on our ‘urban deer’, rabbits, other wildlife & likely also eating stray dogs & cats.”
(Bexar County/metro San Antonio has several areas, which have more than 200 WT deer per square mile.)

I’m not a fan of poison but in this case it’s warranted. Some sirloin and something from the household goods aisle at the grocery would remove this predator from being a danger to humanity.
I hear rumors theres a lot of mountain lions around Montrose, Colorado. But its just that, rumors.
