Both Ruby Ridge, and Waco a year later, stand as shocking moments in modern U.S. history that should alarm all Americans. On the anniversary of Ruby Ridge we wanted to share our article that takes a look at the incident.

Learn more about the siege and about the story of John Joe Gray, an example of what Ruby Ridge could have been, instead of the tragedy it was. Read the full article at Ammo.com: https://ammo.com/articles/ruby-ridge-siege-forgotten-history-weaver-family-atf-standoff-militia

I can’t stand to even read the details of Ruby Ridge any more.

Pure evil by all the way up to the president.

I think most Freepers support law enforcement as we should but we should also not forget they, like a military army, take orders and follow a chain of command.

Law enforcement can be friend or foe when it hits the fan. We won’t know till it happens.

Then there are those who are like in the Waco, Ruby, and the Weaver’s attacks.

The ATF has a terrible reputation for being more like criminals than law enforcement. Why; I don’t know. Maybe a cultural thing in that department of the government.

Ruby Ridge, where it all started to go bad for the FBI.
‘93 WTC attack
Waco
911 investigation
Oregon 7

It almost seems like they go out of their way to block anything that has to do with Muslims or the Middle East.

I didn’t forget. FBI shoots the wife, Vicky Weaver, in the FACE when she opens the door to see what the hell is going on outside of her house. Holding a baby? Yes. Weaver was FRAMED by the FBI because people he knew where so-called white supremacists. He wasn’t, but because he knew them the FBI targeted HIM for infiltration. Because he refused to participate they framed him so that they could BLACKMAIL him. These are the FACTS that are to this day UNKNOWN by the vast majority of Americans. Number of FBI agents charged? Zero. True.

If McVeigh is representative of the militia movement, it’s populated by morons. The Oklahoma bombing killed children. The members of paramilitary movements on both sides during the struggle between the Nazis and the Communists carried out a lot of assassinations. One thing they did not do was kill random people. Each had agents and sympathizers within the security services, and a mass killing would have defeated their purpose.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lon_Horiuchi
[For the five months following the Waco inferno, Timothy McVeigh worked at gun shows and handed out free cards printed with Horiuchi’s name and address, “in the hope that somebody in the Patriot movement would assassinate the sharpshooter”. He wrote hate mail to the sniper, suggesting that “what goes around, comes around”. McVeigh considered targeting Horiuchi, or a member of his family, before settling on a bombing attack on a federal building, choosing to target the Murrah Building.[12]]

Along with two friends, I spent 3 hours face to face with Randy as he told us his story...

There was no miscommunication regarding court dates...Randy was set up, again and again, after refusing to do the Feds’ bidding and infiltrate a “White nationalist/racist group”...His big mistake was cutting down two shotguns 1/4” too short (Randy made extra money doing occasional gunsmithing) for a Fed informant...Once he’d done that and the informant tattled, as was his assignment, Randy was theirs...

No distinction was made between Randy’s belief the races should live separately (he was a white separatist, but was not racially prejudiced against anyone
) and his accused “racism”...To the Feds, what’s the difference? All same/same apparently; especially when convenient to entrapment...Plus, once the Federal Bureau of Incineration realized negative public opinion had become a problem, a charge of “racism” gave cover...”Oh, he and his family are racists? Shoot um!”

His pre-teen son was shot and almost lost his arm, their dog was killed (de rigueur for LEOs then as now, it seems), his nursing wife, holding their baby girl, was shot with a 7.62 mm 168 gr HPBT round in the face fired by FBI Agent Lon Horiuchi...

Sadly, none of this needed to happen...Randy was a peaceful man, no danger to anyone and wanted only to be left alone to live according to his religious beliefs...Federal LEOs running amok...

Kinda rings a bell with the shenanigans of Comey and Co. these days, eh? Nothing much has changed but the weapons they use...Out of control, then as now...

The ATF was pretty much a rogue agency back then.

Never forget. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

The irony of the federal government’s desire to obtain informants within the Aryan Nations is that different branches of federal law enforcement and intelligence gathering occupied five of the six key positions in the organization. This means that the Aryan Nations were effectively a government-run shop, with agents spying on each other to ensure the integrity of an investigation – into an organization almost entirely run by the federal government.

******************

But they really really needed Weaver as an informant......

I read Mr. Weavers Book and was sickened by it.
The federal gub mint is here to help? Crappola.
The thing I was absolutely amazed with was that Lawyer Gerry Spence was able to get damn near all the charges thrown out.
Lon Horiuchi was a gub mint murderer and skated for his crimes here and in Waco for which they promoted him.
I hope he burns in hell.

Just think if 500 militia had shown up at Ruby Ridge like they did at the Bundy ranch.
