Maine is as big as Texas if you drive all the was to fort kent.

Evil empire NFL will work to sabotage em.

They can move franchises easily?

StL is the team with a huge fanbase.
Entire midwest

Portland Oregon has that honor now, I think.

Perhaps Mobile or Birmingham Alabama.

According to the 2018 census estimates, it is Portland, if you take into account the entire Metropolitan Statistical Area.

I know it is Wiki, but the source material looks valid...

Officially, it’s 1.716 million. (It’s probably more now.) This is barely eclipsed by the Norfolk-Portsmouth-Virginia Beach-Hampton Roads SMSA. Barely. Last count: 1.728 million.

Both are bigger than some metro areas that have teams.

That story is a few years old — the Las Vegas NHL franchise has actually been playing for 2 or 3 seasons.

Going over the MSA, I just don’t see anything bigger than Portland without at least 1 of the 4 major league team sport franchises.

Green Bay is always the poster child for the city that tries to lure a franchise to it.

The season is supposed to start the last Sunday of February. Maybe schedule the first couple of games as roadies and then pray things warm up a month earlier than usual.

Who knows? Maybe Vince made a strategic decision to position the league for a post climate change world. ;-)

Royals just flew into Boston to play a 15 minute game. They lost. Now, back to the airport.

Fenway was packed.
