They need their platform pulled, re-classified as a public utility and regulated as such. Either that, or classified as an enemy of the country and totally put out of business. Make an example out of em for the rest of the communist tech shiteheads.

It’s hard to accept that these Googlers, who are supposed to be “really intelligent” are in fact rather stupid.

Are they all workers from foreign countries? They sure are NOT AMERICANS. I expect we will learn in time that they were not all that bright, just capable of “coding.”

What a depressing letdown. Shatters my idea of the super brains these are supposed to have.

I’m thinking that awarding a big government contract for services to one of the competitors—Bing, duck, etc., might be a huge boost to google’s competitors. Especially if it is one of the start-ups. I know bing is Microsoft, which already does a lot of business with the government, and would prefer that the business go to one of the startups. As an aside, the government (at least DoD) prefers doing business with small businesses, if they can do the job.

Google might be arrogant enough to think it will do fine without government contracts, but it isn’t considering second and third order effects. If, for example, duck got the contract for search engine, etc., services, then other people would be more inclined to use it because they would see that as an endorsement.

So, google, go ahead and stop doing business with the government. Your arrogance will be your downfall.

If I was in charge of Lead for the ICE IT department, I would as why would I want to store my data and Apps in a cloud ran by a company that I can not trust?

It is time for the Federal Government to realize it needs it own secure cloud.

But they will work with Communist China..., the country that destroyed Tibet, Tiennamin Square Massacre, and rounds up Muslims for “re-education.” Disclaimer: That last part, I don’t mind so much, but you get the point.

The employee action make Google unqualified for the contract.

Employee sabotage of sensitive cloud data is an ironclad certainty if google receives the contract.

The google employees have crapped in their own nest

Use this as the basis of withdrawing all Google contracts with the federal government. If they’re outright boycotting on conscience, it is logical to assume either poor quality work or outright interference on other projects to punish the Trump administration.

You don’t want it. We can’t trust you because you hate us. No more work or money for you.

“”or the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), which provides services for refugees””

Are they serious? This is a federal agency that fleeces taxpayers to HELP immigrants - legal or otherwise - and they want to stop it??? It looks like someone didn’t do their homework. We’d ALL be for getting rid of the ORR permanently.
