I hate to hijack a thread - but I’ve never eaten at In And Out Burger.
Are they any good?
I get the Protein-Style burgers, Keto Heaven!
To each his own. In my case, they are ok, better than McDonalds or Booger King, but I much prefer the independents that are all over LA. I’m in Texas now, so there are fewer places even in Ft. Worth/Saginaw area, but I would rather cook for myself anyway.
Best 2-3 dollar burger you can get.
Not Fuddruckers, but one third the cost. And I really don’t need 1000+ calorie burger like you get at the top tier places.
They’re good, if you go get one, try “animal style”.
However, I wouldn’t say that they’re the best thing in the universe ever.
Now, a Fuddrucker’s Buffalo burger, that’s on a whole other level entirely.
Or, seeing as this is DFW, Kincaids. Yum-yum.

I don’t know why they are so much better, but they are.
Too salty and the patty keeps getting thinner.
I cant claim to have been at a great many so my opinion shouldn’t be given much weight. Im not particularly fond of fast food in general and find theirs to be low on the scale even for fast food. Generally very dirty stores by comparison to others. The food sloppy and swimming in grease to point of making the bun soggy like it had been warmed in the grease drip tray under the grill. The very popular tacos are truly atrocious.
Just double checked with my little ice pick in the eye. Yup, I had my wires crossed. Thinking specifically of recent Jack In the Box (Nashville) when I posted. There are quite few fast food places that aren’t up here and I only get to them these days when I travel and even then I generally try to stay away. I used to eat a lot of fast food but so much of that crap is so similar and so rare for me these days that I guess Im having trouble remembering which is which.
The closest Chick Filet I know of is over 120 miles away. Nearest White Castle is about an hour drive south and haven’t been to one of those since about 2000. A Sonic appeared nearby and sold a few slushies then they pulled out. Fuddruckers, Whataburger, a bunch of other places some of you talk about, no where near here.
A bit of investigation suggests that I haven’t actually been to an In And Out since about ‘86...so nevermind...
In n Out is very good. Most fast food places are full of msg. In n Out food is not. They just do burgers and fries and shakes. All 3 simple with good ingredients. You can see the happy teen workers peeling actual potatoes, cutting them, and frying them. There are “secret” ways to prepare all three foods that aren’t on the menu. There is a bible verse on the bottom of every cup.
My family gets In n Out at least once a week. I grew up on it and love it and I really don’t like fast food. Only in n Out and Chik Fil A.
Are they any good? She certainly showed class in her choice of fast food. They're worth leaving Minnesota over.
